INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTMANAGER
Baktec B.V. is a growing family business. For over 35 years, we have specialized in the production and development of water mixing and measuring devices, as well as water chillers, primarily for bakeries. We are known for the quality and reliability of our products and services. Baktec supplies its products worldwide, with the main markets being North America, Europe, and Australia (primarily B2B).
We are looking for a proactive and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager who is ready and able to make a significant contribution to the growth of our organization. Baktec aims to build solid and long-lasting relationships with its clients—and you will play a key role in this. This role offers plenty of room for initiative, giving you the opportunity to shape and expand your position.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Researching, maintaining, and developing new potential markets;

Establishing and maintaining (international) business relationships;

Monitoring the market for new opportunities, sales channels, and trends;

Generating and following up on new leads (for new business);

Analyzing competition and sales data and translating it into a concrete sales plan;

Informing clients about (new) developments;

Attending international trade shows;

Collaborating closely with the Managing Director, Back Office Sales, and Technical Manager.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education and thinking (HBO-level);

At least five years of work experience in a commercial role within an international organization (experience in a similar industry is a plus);

You are ambitious, entrepreneurial, and communicative—you easily make connections and turn them into long-term relationships;

You are result-oriented, with a proactive, positive, and driven attitude;

Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English; knowledge of German, Spanish, and/or French is a plus;

Willing to travel internationally 5–10 times per year for client visits and trade shows;

Most work will be performed from the office.
